At Focus for Nonprofits, we strive to partner with clients on a more personal level, to help them understand where they've been, but more importantly where they're going and how they can impact their own communities better!

We understand and appreciate the value of making a difference and leaving a positive impact. Our own organization each year has donated both time and money to Make A Wish Foundation helping to grant wishes to children dealing with life threatening illnesses. Our partnership with the Make a Wish Foundation has enabled us to see first-hand how one company can make a difference in a child’s life and the life of their loved ones.

Our team at Focus for Nonprofits understands that people, mission, fundraising, grants, government assistance and events are the lifeblood of an organization. We understand and appreciate the world you live in because we live in that same world.

Meet the Owner: Brad Yochum

My name is Brad Yochum, I am the founder of Focus. I started this firm with the sole objective to help maximize financial clarity for nonprofit organizations.

I have an undergraduate business degree from California State University, Fullerton with an emphasis in Finance and an MBA in Accounting from Baker College, Michigan. I’m also a graduate of Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses, an intensive business education program developed by Babson College.

  • We have served a number of non-profit organizations in the Southern California Area
  • Due to organizations’ size and number of transactions, it is not necessary for a full time CFO/Controller or finance department
  • Reporting to the BOD and stakeholders is usually necessary
  • Having books audit ready are required and will save you time and money

  • We become the client’s entire Finance Department
  • We provide high level advice & regular reporting to stakeholders
  • We assist with budgeting and financial projections
  • We liaise with the external auditors
  • We process client donations, pay vendor bills & record payroll
